Hey y'all, I know this topic has been beaten to death here, but I'm still having some problems with it.

I'm trying to get away from using the pattern sequencer to instead just resample my chops together to form my tracks. Here's my problem: I have a looped bassline as one sample and I want to resample it with some synths over top. So I hit resample, record etc. then I hit the pad of my bassline and begin to tap the pads of my synth samples on top. But before the bassline even finishes its first loop cycle, it stops completely. I know it is not due to a max out of polyphony b/c there are only 2 or 3 samples at once so far.

Any ideas what's going wrong and how I can resample stuff on top of looped bass or drums to form a track? Thanks in advance!

from the manual:

"Please note that the polyphony will be four notes when resampling."

that means only 2 notes if they're stereo

Oh ok, thanks...

But I've seen lots of videos on youtube of ppl resampling to make full songs. How do they do that? b/c I know it's more than two notes.

build your tracks one step at a time, resample all your chops on one pad, same with your drums, bass, synth, etc. and then stack em all together

Sampling in mono is key.

No, just have the samples you are recording set to mono. If you need to e
Resample the new parts to a pad with the stero pad unlit. And it may help if you get lit. Lol jk.

Edit :oh okay I see what your saying. Is this what youre supposed to do with all your samples? Is it the same for drum breaks on records?
