History :

I'm using a Casio PX320 keyboard midi out into a midi solutions quadra thru box. This is then connected to the sp 404 and a zoom RT123 drum machine. I have been through the motions of setting everything up and i can trigger the drum machine and SP404 to start at the same time sync'd to the tempo set on the casio. All good.......but

The Problem :

The problem i'm having is that although the sp404 and drum machine trigger there is an intermittent problem whereby the SP404 is counting through the measures at the right tempo but there isn't any sound coming out. If i press the start/stop button enough times on the casio eventually the pattern plays and everybody's happy. There isn't any consistency with the number of times i press start/stop and the pattern playing. The pattern i'm playing is in bank C ie on a CF card. Don't know if this could have something to do with it.

If anybody has any advice it would be much appreciated.

That sounds like a real bug. You may wanna go to the Roland site and try reporting it.

I've sent the same message i originally posted, to Roland in the UK. They've been pretty sharp at getting back to me in the past. I'll err... keep you posted :) . Now i really must go to bed.
