i don't know the mixer - so i would check that first - can you download a manual for it?

that will be most help along with the 404 manual back pages at moment.

well i changed my mind from the Alesis to a Mackie ProFX 8. Its cheaper and it gets good reviews. I make psychedelic music I just want to add a mixer to my rig to do live editing and change whats coming out of my guitar amp. I know how to work a mixer i just need help hooking up all my gear to it and the running it into my guitar amp.

Not very clear.
Do you mean...
Send the guitar out of an amps FX send - into the mixer, then the 404 and synth into the mixer & back to the amps FX return? ~ Or do you additionally need to use the 404 as an FX units for guitar & synth?
Should be do-able. Depends on what connections that mixer has as to how you do it.

I want to connect my sp 404 and my microkorg into a mixer that will then go into my guitar amp for amplification for both of those. is that even possible or will I need to buy a monitor or a keyboard amp

P.S. I use the 404 to trigger sounds

All you need is a mixer with at least 2 stereo tracks which narrows it down to ANY dj mixer.

The SP-404 outputs to your mixer channel 1 inputs, the Microkorg outputs to your mixer channel 2 inputs, the mixer's master ouput into the amp's input.

some suggested reading before going any further into audio production
