For live applications, when pressing MFX, do some of you get a slight widdle pause in sound when you press it? Why does this happen? It especially sucks when you are trying to arm a track for the DJ FX looper ahead of time and it cuts out.

Turn the CRTL 1 knob all the way to the right (or might be left) on DJFX

The ctrl1 knob on the DJFX is the looped part duration, it's it's too slow there'sgonna be a gap

effects switching isn't instant on the og, there is a slight delay in sound on the selected pads.

worse with some effects more so than others, with the DJFX looper falling into the 'worse' camp for sure

My beef is that if it isn't activated, it shouldn't affect anything until I turn ctrl knob 3. I tried using just "effect grab" and it seems to be working ok (effect grab, then let go), but that isnt the most practical.

All knobs to the left and tap tempo for a bar
Then use effect grab and select effect

a cool trick is to hold the circle button (tap) while flipping through other effect very fast. this will create a que of sorts, its, pretty neat. but pretty pointless.

With the tap-tempo-button you can grab an efx without any sound gap. Just hold down this button and press an efx. Efx on. Release it. Efx off.
While still holding down the tap-tempo-button push another efx. Now this one is armed. Now you can grab this efx. No sound gabs!

this is why i kind of like the SX more for recording different MFX over a track since theres no pause like that. aside from not having the vinyl sim comp i think i liked using the SX more than the OG. unfortunately the pads are dead on it and i cant use it anymore so the OG is what i solely use now.
