1. have your pad you want to put MFX on playing.
2. hit EXT SOURCE and then turn MFX on for it.
3. hold REMAIN and make sure your pad with audio is not lit.
4. turn knobs down for desired MFX so it's dry. (for most effects, CTRL 1-3 all the way left)
5. THEN-- hold remain again and re-arm your pad with audio on it to start tweaking with NO DROPOUT OF AUDIO.

word.

this is how you perform with like, say, one track on a pad.

i couldn't find this on forums when i was looking, so i decided to share.

finally got around to trying this... it works great but it's a little complicated... Just got to practice doing it til it comes natural I guess. I kept expecting it to effect-grab the effect instead of turning it on and off, because with both processes you hold down more than 1 pad. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work with all pads simultaneously, or resampling, but it would be perfect when tracking out a single pad bounce and add effects with no dropout. good find!

I just tried this. doesn't always work though.
2. hit EXT SOURCE and then turn MFX on for it.

Sometimes the effect will start playing before I get to do number 3.
