Hi guys!

I've a 404(OG) and I've a doubt. When I push a pad and it sounds a song, at the moment I change some fx, some tenth of a second appear it disturbs me.

Are there any solution? Does it happen on all SP?

Here is a video of the problem :

Thanks for reading and sorry for my english.

Use the fx grab feature. It will apply fx without the delay. Hit up the manual if yer unsure of what I mean.

yo, ya the fx grab will work like formals saying. makes the effect way smoother and quicker. but ive noticed i get lag for djfx looper (404og) when i turn the effect onto the pad thats playing. using fx grab is not ideal here because you need two hands to use djfx.. any work arounds?

The DJ Looper effect doesn't run 'in the background' and it's a 'hack' so to speak of the regular delay function. It will always cause artifacts when turning on and off and switching around the stutter speed (knob 1).

Nothing you can do about this in a live situation, but if you're resampling stuff with it, I will leave it on for whole track and only use 1 speed stutter, then resample with different stutter speed, then do a 3rd pass with switching stutter sizes then a final pass with pitch.

It's a pain, but it's best way to not cause gaps or unwanted skips in your audio. Just leave it on. Otherwise, you're kinda SOL on that. It's definitely a hack effect and works completely different than shit like the KP3, which is actually always catching outgoing audio whether it's on or off and isn't based on a delay (this is why when you change the speed of the stutter, the pitch changes with it...digital delays do this exact same thing).
