Hey everyone,

just bought a behringer FCB1010 to trigger samples on my SP-404sx.
I programmed FCB button 1 to send midi note 47 (Pad A1 on the SP). The synchronization of the SP is set up to "off" so it only receives midi notes. However, when I press the programmed button 1, the samples is not played. Did I forget to setup anything else? There is a phrase in the manual however, which I don't really understand:

to program a MIDI function, you have to first activate it. individual MIDI functions are activated by keeping the corresponding keys pressed for a few seconds. Active MIDI functions are indicated by a permanently lit footswitch LED.

Aperantly, you are supposed to "activate" the midi function? "you have to keep the corresponding keys pressed for a few seconds". What keys do they mean? and at what time do you do this?

Is there anybody who can makes this more clear to me?

thanks in advance,
Needlez

Problem solved. The Midi channel of the sampler was set to 3 and the foot controller's channel is set to 1 by default.
