Hey, I found a Kickstarter for people who are trying to make USB power cables for a 404SX and other gear. I noticed a 404SX in the video, so I'm guessing it would work for it.

nothing really new there... i use those myvolts usb power cables since two years without a problem

oh damn, thanks for the heads up. You don't notice any additional noise with the SP when using it, right? Been curious about getting something like this so I don't have to carry the bulky power supply that came with my 404.

never had a Problem with noise or something. this Thing works fine for Zoom ST-224, SP-303, SP-404, SP-202, SP-555, Roland MS-1 and KORG microSAMPLER. Never noticed something strange...
and with my xiaomi powerbank i can power any of These samplers for hours
