Hi haven’t been on here in a while but hope y’all are well.

Been having trouble with getting signal noise when the external source is on with out inputs plugged in. Wondering if anyone is having this problem. Noise is exaggerated when vinyl sim compression is on obviously. Thanks!

Sounds like you have an effect turned on. Some effects can bring in noise.

My advice... drop your mic/guitar gain knob all the way down (turn counter clockwise), press |SHIFT|+[EXT SOURCE] and set input effect to bypass.

Make Sure Bus 1 and Bus 2 are off by making sure none of the effect lights are on then cycle to the other bus by pressing [BUS FX].

Finally... make sure you don't have a spurious Bus 3 or Bus 4 turned on by pressing |SHIFT|+[Pad16] to go into EFX Settings by setting Favorite: to bypass.

If you've still got line noise after that... I'd imagine something is wrong.

Near Tao is effectively going to be a walking MK2 bible at this rate, still persevering with the blog on all the details! Big respect. You’d almost have thought he was part of building it lol

Neartao- you’re a life saver man. There was effects on bus 3/4 while I was trying to figure out how to route effects. Thank you so much! I appreciate the time you spent to write out the manual as well. Much love
