I read about how by sampling on Hi-fi and putting the filter on, you can get the pads to mute eachother. I think I've found a better way. It means you can sample at Standard, saving mem and getting the bit o'grit, for times when you don't want the added grunge of even the fully open filter. It's probs been mentioned before but...

Instead of using Filter, use the Delay. Make sure you're on the max bpm and turn the delay all the way up - as long as your samples aren't longer than the longest delay time...voila - pad muting but without the grunge of the filter, and at Standard rate, saving memory.
