I went digging the other day and came across this nice looking record the other day.
It's by this jazz sextet by the name of Andromeda. It doesn't have a real title, and it says not for sale on the back :lol:
Couldn't find any info on the label, which is Canova Records.

The owner of the record store didn't recognize it, either. There are a few names on the back, and it looks like it was made in Switzerland.

It has 5 very nice tracks, all composed themselves, I think.
I've been looking it up on google and discogs and popsike, but I can't seem to find anything about it on the internet.
I'll post up a picture soon if someone's interested.

Jazz fusion, I guess.
Pretty much soul and funk influenced jazz.
Great stuff, really, I've already sampled it for a beat I made(it didn't come out that great, though :()

I googled "Andromeda LP of Canova Records" and mostly I get that they were a psychedelic band with their first LP cut in 1969. Their albums are rare, but can they be the same group? I also read that their music was called KrautRock, but that would connect them with Germany. I don't know. Strange find indeed.

I think this would make for a good present for a colleague in Japan/Italy, don't you think? They both work at a record store/collect records.
I'll ask if they could rip it sometime so you guys can check it out :)
