So I downloaded the Reverb LP app, and picked up 3 records I was on the lookout for. Well, 2 originally. One merchant asked for $5 shipping, but wouldn’t add more if I bought more. I tossed in a $3 Disco record. This merchant doesn’t live too far from me. I tried to ask if I could just buy directly from him, but he claimed to be too busy. No worries. The last record I ordered was a Prince 12”, but it arrives Friday. I’m not going to have extra money to but from RLP for a bit, but so far so good. I’m sure I could have just went to my local record store & picked up a bunch of stuff for what I spent, but if I buy online in the future, it might as well be records I won’t find in any shop.

If like how you can narrow down your search for a specific artist/band, and it will likely be found. Pay on your cc or PayPal, and the shipping and it’s done.

Where do you go for rare records??

Hmmm... neat resource. I typically only buy records I cross paths with in the physical, but I see how this would be valuable to some folks... especially record stores. Haha... could be dangerous. No... no... I need to stop looking at this site or I'll blow my budget for other forms of entertainment*.

Haven’t bought anything since I posted this. But you can probably find a record you’re looking for, and shop around for the best price. Or not.

discogs.com

most extensive and accurate music database and largest marketplace for hard copy music in existence

my rarest records are a result of digging though, of course. i have many albums and singles that are not to be found on the internet. not even mentioned, nonexistent
