im doin a project thats heavily country/folk influenced and am in the process of gathering samples for it...ive got some dope shit but yall know of anything else? u guys ever sample country style shit? |

No doubt have sampled country before. I might have some stuff that I chopped that I was working on awhile ago but never did anything with. some live willie nelson if you are interested in maybe doing something with it. Let me know. Peace. |

Try digging for some Tex Ritter. Butterfield Blues Band has some sounds that could fit what you're doing. Hot Tuna LPs always have a loop or two to offer. If you want string arrangement, try some Crystal Gale. I know a producer sampled a track from one of her LPs for a Joe Budden mixtape. |

Me oh my,love that country pie ! Old Waylon jennings(good hearted woman), Faron young and even Jerry Jeff walker has some good drums oh and jj Cale of course one of the first to use a maestro beatbox in the early 70's-same one sly used I think. |
