This round, NO SAMPLES ALLOWED! this means no ext source sampling, sampling from mic, or using preset sounds. participants must create a minute or so of ear-splitting noise using only the resampling of various fx within your sp. if you gotta d-beam that's fine. subsonic resampled with distortion, cool, just be creative. most extreme, panic-inducing most god-awful horrific sounds will be the winner. make mr. merzbow proud!

Just the right thing for me :O You have been warned. A question though, is it ok if I try to actually make music this way? ![]() EDIT: Oh, important question: is this meant to be SP-only, or can we at least use overdub recording or external sequencing? I'd be fine with the actual sound source being only the SP, but external sequencing would be killer. |

i think external sequencing is fine. as far as overdubs go, i think that could be accomplished by resampling. |
