nice (!?? "nice" is not the good adjective for this #11 battle, due to the extremly noisy samples, but... ![]() kel:great dynamics, somehow it reminds me the good times of Ministry, Young Gods and Godflesh...samplers+guitars+drum machines+DISTORTION!!!! Ministry - Just One Fix -1992 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GhHAlBQsWhI Ministry - N.W.O. (new world order) - 1992 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wB-H7uxYGYc&feature=related Young Gods - L'amourir - 1989 (i didnt found any "tv sky" video, great track!) http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xq55b_the-young-gods-l-amourir_music Young Gods - Skinflowers - 1992 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30H0mr_yY4I&feature=related Godflesh - Slavestate - 1993 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iFsZ_79i-4 Godflesh - Streetcleaner - 1989 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ppTOWLTsC4&feature=related polyphonics: nice track too, very "trancey"... i voted for kel. |

Voted Kel... fav spots are 0:11-0:20 & 1:00-1:25 and after I finish working on these samples - I never want to hear them again - besides, how can you vote for yourself anyway. |

I had my chops in the sp and everything for this battle but I just couldn't come up with anything I liked... Hopefully next battle I wont be so damn lazy Going with Kel on this one... Kind of a tough call here.. Polyphonics' beat was kinda hypnotizing in the sense that it had that one loop and it was easy to follow, but had enough variation so that it wasn't boring. Kel's beat was the exact opposite as I was kinda lost when I first heard it,. But... I just re-listened and it makes a lot more sense for me now... woulda been epic if someone was screaming over it |
