Good idea, grab some samples and lets do this.

I won't be able to make something before Sunday though, but I'm digging the idea. :)

i Seared for some sample's but i can't find something nice to use, i was thinkg for some christmas songs to sample but they are all to corny.

A drumbreak isn't a problem, so if enough guys join the battle it would be cool!

if any one knows a nice sample for the battle, just post it!

peace ho ho ho!

Yeah, lots will be corny for sure. I remember a Frosty the Snow-man battle though, people here will turn it into something entirely different 9 out of 10 times anyways.

Perhaps YouTube would be a neat source for x-mas related samples too. I'd look into the movie stuff as well, might be fun to throw in some vocal / talk stabs.

If you've got a drumbreak ready somewhere, I'd upload that too. :D

Lets give it a week tops or so, so it'll be done before new year?

Yeah, do go ahead! The more entrants the better.

Let's make this a full freestyle with external samples allowed. Of course the focus should still be the given break and samples, but I'm sure you catch my drift here. :)

I would like no external samples, but possibly some synth/keys. A few of us have made beats and/or are working with the samples already. Just a thought. Let me know what you think.
