just relistened to all the entries after a night of virtually no sleep and I don't know if it's the no-sleep haze or what but this was my favorite batch of entries to date. KUDOS 2 U ALL FR FR!!

TGN - beautiful grainy soundscape. love the slow unfurling feel accomplished with pacing and stereo effects. one of my favorites from you in recent battles

kwwundo: filthy tones and snare. good use of stereo effects and one shots. 0:26. can’t believe this whole thing is only 1:16. wonderfully dense [honorable mention]

MITT: heavenly textures yet again. love the break usage—is the first one slowed? love the texture of those drums too, really making the case for the MS 1 here. 2:24-2:36 would have made for a perfect outro imo, but the one you used is nice as well

George Punchy: 0:13, damn son!! love the layering around 0:23. pleasant filter pump faking and slicing/stuttering throughout. great for zoning

ryba(1): BASS! very tasteful grainy funk here. love the snare. feels like this track would be perfect on a diner jukebox after coming down from an acid beach trip. good replayability. can I get the DL please?? [honorable mention]

_¥_: first half is childhood me skipping into an arcade after the ‘rents have locked away mi Wii for a month cause I threw rocks into the neighbor’s yard. second half is nicely swung and ZOOTED!! can it keep getting weirder and weirder please??

ryba(2): MORE BASS! great chops and drum programming. I feel the itch to run the other one back more but both should be on a tape someday. nice work

You know what? It's been so long since I did it that I can't remember exactly. Possibly the 2nd break was slowed wit' the MS-1 but not the first? However, they were defo timestretched. It's weird how every SP303 I get is slightly different and this one seems to allow me to timestretch a fair amount without it going to shit. But, as I say, possibly only the 2nd was pitched in the MS-1.

Edit: sounds like both were pitched and then timestretched. First is Thom Janusz - Crystals and second is listed as 'Cobmeo' so is possibly Billy Cobham on Drumeo. The late snare on that one throws it out slightly but I liked it anyhow.
