Endtroducing will always be the GOAT for me. I first tried doing Changeling but I couldn't get the Motherlode break to sound any good (something that I found when I had it on vinyl and an S950 too, weirdly), so I gave up and restarted on Midnight In A Perfect World. Could've done with a bass but I can rarely be bothered wit dat sheeat. I thought I'd try the famed Vinyl Sim compression for a change but I went a bit overboard with it, lol.

I also went with DJ Shadow. When I heard Entroducing for the first time it just blew my mind, then when I found out it was all samples I couldnt believe it. I went with Building Steam with Grain of Salt.
used every sample from the ones on who sampled. Drums a mixture of the break in the actual DJ shadow track and the George Marsh sample.

I did “oooh” by de la soul. The main sample (Bruce Lee) that I used I honestly didn’t hear in the song but oh well, that’s what whosampled gave me.. but I managed to pull a drum kit out of the “greatest love” song.

What was the break used in the actual DJ Shadow track? Just noticed it ain't listed on Whosampled.

I couldnt find it either so I sampled the DJ shadow track itself, where it’s just the drums! I’ve heard a couple of different places it could have originally came from but i think theres an interview where he says its from a school band record

Maybe Kashmere Stage Band then. Their records are chock full of breaks. He did a track with Handsome Boy Modelling School that used one of them.
