Yeah but I'm worried I'll void Zindan's new 'Insanity-Free Guarantee' if I keep it up

I don't doubt that what you're reading has been stated, but I'm afraid "Lossy" is not being used correctly in terms relative to the limits of human hearing. "Lossy" is only ever relative to (and the opposite of) "Lossless".

It's ironic really because although reduced bit-depth and sample rates are not the same as "Lossy", what they are the same as is "Lo-Fi", and after all, that is one of the reasons you love this stuff (it's due to it being "Lo-Fi" not "Lossy").

You often get my vote or runner up so it's great to hear you're stepping back into the ring bruh!
I might even try myself but I'm not holding my breath on that one, lol!

Just wanted to update what I said. I've been playing around with 'Lo-Fi Comp' and it's actually quite nice. It seems to prefer pre-filtered material and internally it appears to change multiple different parameters to what the standard 'Comp' effect changes.

When it comes to setting the 'Type' on Knob 1, I still don't like the types that come after 12'O'Clock, but the types before 12'O'Clock are actually quite nice (as long as you feed it pre-filtered audio).
