Hello friends!

This battle will be anonymous, everyone likes it!
Light hip-hop from old samples.

The rules are simple:

1. Using only SP. External mastering in DAW is possible.
2. Source materials are here. You can use your own bass, effects, and more. Drums are at the end of the track.
3. The duration of the beats is not limited. Audio and video formats are accepted. Send me the results of your beats in DM or [email protected]

Materials are accepted until 11th November.
Voting Saturday 12th - Monday 14th November.
Reveal and winner announced Tuesday 15th November.

Good luck!

I think, many have heard. These are samples from famous compositions of the 70s.

Honestly, it’s hard for me, too. :D

When faced with soul songs for samplin', I usually just end up getting a loop going, put drums to it...and then I get stuck with how to move it on and it ends up on the unfinished pile with oh so many others. I love that style of stuff to listen to but it's not something I can ever do easily, for some reason. Would be harder too with SPs coz there's no way to easily pitch parts of the other songs and use those over the top, and I'm all about the layerz.
