I liked my treatment of the string samples here but not sure this really came together all that well. Never did manage to get the bass to sit right either. Oh well. https://soundcloud.com/waywardpressman/the-wayward-pressman-spbb334 404A, 202 Repitched the strings with the 202 and harmonized them with the A's chromatic PS. Some subsonic for the bass. Made a five-note keyboard out of the glass harmonica(?) sample to add some variety at the end. Mostly used the sequencer this time. Admired paz's optimism about the drums. I found building my kit to be by the hardest part this time and I still do not love how it sounds. Fully support the use of the MS-1 in these battles, for what it's worth. |
