Alright Gentlemen,

the last men standing must shoot it out!

Zindan and Waywardpressman load your guns!
Take sth. from the provided samples you did not use before!
Bouncing around allowed!
An external Instrument allowed!

The shootout will take place at sundown on Sunday 16th!
Right in front of the cemetery of our deserted, but highly beloved SP-Town!
The Poll will be open for 2 days afterwards.

Good Luck!

I just wanted to say how much I like your post, it's very colourful. I actually moved to Blackpool largely due to all the coloured lights that are here in an attempt to keep my spirits lifted.

Anyway, good luck to both and may the best beat win! I'll be there for sure, hanging 'round the cemetery gates, grabbing a front seat for this one, probably munching on a doner kebab if anyone wants to say hi and share it with me!

Still think you should have made Zindan resample tho

sounds perfect except the deadline, shouldn't set one until wayward gives confirmation
they still haven't said anything
also keep in mind with deadlines that most of us are located in the U.S. or i am at least

Being an actual Gentleman, personally I would have handed it to waywardpressman if I had as many wins under my belt as Zindan has. But since this is Zindan who has proven yet again that he often cannot grasp even the simplest of sentences written in fluent English, here is a quote from waywardpressman that should hopefully help clarify things for our good friend Zindan.

do you really think that two wins is "many"? i guess considering that's as high as you can count, i can see where you're coming from
[and one of them was won by default lmfao]

i missed the first of his two back-to-back messages there, but this still has nothing to do with the fact that he hasn't confirmed that he agrees to the terms and deadline of the battle that TGN came up with [which would make the deadline tomorrow]

I was under the inpression that Zindan is the one to beat, so thought you had won lots of times!
I take that comment back then, sorry 'bout that!

i appreciate that sentiment, especially considering it serves to further substantiate the fact that my submissions don't receive votes [from the forum's regulars] due to my bad reputation here rather than any lack of merit

i'm not here to "win" tho lmao, half the time i submit my beat after the deadline or not at all, these SPBBs just help me with inspiration/motivation to make music when i'm stuck in a rut/not feeling it, also good for procrastination

something about a deadline precipitates creativity/innovation regardless of that deadline's [lack of] significance

anyways, about this one on one thing, i think it'd make sense to make the deadline 3 days from whenever wayward acknowledges the rules TGN came up with, if he's down to battle

i wish TGN would've given us a new sample though smh, have a feeling this one's gonna be boring

Not sure I feel you on the lack of votes from members, you always do good, you even get votes from those you regulary disrespect, which frankly demonstrates the amount of integrity and patience those people have. I do hear you on the creativity and the deadline thing though, I hate deadlines and nothing kills creativity quite like a deadline does!

You have to have one here though cause it's a beat battle. Personally I would have thrown this one at you both to battle over, especially as it went down well in another thread on here:

you haven't been here very long, and this statement makes that glaringly obvious lmfao most of the people who hated on me either aren't active anymore or are over it now that it's been 4 years since the "drama"

i think you misunderstood, i said the opposite, deadlines inspire me
without them, i never get anything done
still sitting on unfinished projects from years and years ago

Sorry, misread it, nevertheless I hate deadlines :x

Anyway, not getting into that "Everyone Hates Zindan" stuff again, it's all in your head bro. I am quite prepared to believe there are aspects of Zindan that people on here (both past and present) hate, but I don't actually believe that anyone hates you!

Some might casually hate you for doing the sort of things you do, but there's a difference between that and actual, full-on hatred. Like I keep telling you, it's all in your head bro, and while on the subject of your mental health, I just wanted to say that the heads in the lampshades appear to have worked, or at the very least we seem to be seeing some improvement!

i knew i'd have a few hours to put something together saturday night. it's not exactly perfection but it's what i had time for... i also like deadlines

https://soundcloud.com/waywardpressman/the-wayward-pressman-spbb331-tiebreak

On the SP-404A via resample. My one instrument is a very underused prologue sampled via the mic in and recorded with a metronome to keep it reasonably in time

fine with giving zindan some extra time if he's jammed up
