*edit I just noticed that the sample already has been downloaded 33times but the drums not even once. I'm a bit afraid these 33 ones are lawyers or. cops and shit like that... Is that the way they make their money now or am I paranoid? |

So it's all good. Hope it works from home... |

thanks wax, appreciated! lol...just on the fact that you put abba up as the sample meant i just had to get it to work...just to say i made a beat outta abba lol. Used an SP404. By the way, i had a little trouble with the drums....they didnt play on my mp3 player (what i record off onto the sp)...so i tried throwing it into ableton and exporting as a new wav and it said it was corrupt...i just used itunes to convert it to mp3 and no dramas. wierd. |

so... the last 4 days i've been donating my body to science for a medical study so i can afford a big upgrade in my equipment and get a few things for school-got 3 more days-obviously i wont be able to battle.i feel slightly herbish for being a lab monkey for a pharmacudical company,when i feel the u.s. has the worst health care system of any fully developed country,to say the least-and i'm totally against what i'm doing from an ethical standpoint...but fuck it,i guess-its for the greater good-my greater good at least-unfortunately even people that hate money have to get it somehow.& if i didnt do this i wouldnt be able to start recording all my own music in my own studio in my own crib in about a week.still,i feel like me and my brain are back home chainsmoking in my livingroom with my sp & records and this body floating through the hospital halls is just an empty shell that resembles me..its kinda weird,i feel completely detatched from myself. but all i'm trying to say is that it was dope to come through & see one of my quotes in homeadeinstrumentals avatar,lol... |

yea it could be placebo..but even if it wasnt,the people that get the medicine only get 1 dose-its just an alzheimers medication,i dont think theres any real risks of any bad side effects.i still feel like i shouldnt be doing it-but shit,i don't have any other way right now to get a couple grand all at once..so we'll se how bad i feel a week or so from now when i'm making beats on a 555 with a few hundred dollars worth of new wax,recording my own vocals for my next album while rocking some rare jordans , popping mad bottles(mountain dew bottles,but still..)& smoking only the finest of camels.damn i need a ciggarette. |
