Hey!

New Danny Brown dropped a bunch of weeks back, tho the physical release came out only last Friday. Spun that nonstop the first few weeks and love the vibe, q-tip yadda yadda really good stuff.

The track Dirty Laundry samples a band I never heard before and they def. picked the coolest cut on the record BUT, it wasn't chopped much and in that way the original song is amazing and for me just makes the Danny track bang that much harder when the drums kick in.

Long story short: was strongly considering using Syrinx - Aurora Spinray as the sample and encourage evryone to chop way harder, but now I chose another cut from the same record.

RULES:

Chop the sample

Use the drums

Special rule: make and use percs from ConserveTheSound. Tell us which you used when you post.

Outside instruments/samples/vox/ NOT ALLOWED (except BASS)
DJFX looper NOT ALLOWED
Using Isolator on the last bar of four NOT ALLOWED
Cheesy filtersweeps NOT ALLOWED

Deadline one week : 4 DEC 2019

Made only of the samples provided with two 404's
For the "special rule" I used the hairdryer. The random base notes came from some tones on there as well as the dude talking in the video.

Bass recorded directly via soundcard
Used the sound of typewriter machine (the red one) - drenched in reverb, you can hear it throughout the track
Couple of bouncing, didn't use none of the plug ins except for the limiter on the last exported take to beef up the signal a bit

Hope you'll enjoy it

Peace
