Welcome to SPBB #288 fam!

Here's your sample source :

https://youtu.be/gSXzPd8RX0Q

And here are the RULES :

- use your own drum samples
- outside instruments ENABLED
- external devices / groove boxes / synths ENABLED
- must use provided sample as harmonic basis for your beat, or to make it distinctive somehow, other than that - anything goes!
- must use SP at some point, even if it's EFX only, multiple SPs allowed
- time limit 5:00 minutes
- poll goes up in two weeks

Cheers!

Long sample source, wanted to give you all time to listen it through, plus lately not so much contestants - I was kinda hoping to lure them more in.
I've got no problem with putting up the poll earlier, doesn't matter

That's right. You must use the SP somewhere in the process, even if it's for EFX only, otherwise than that - anything goes. Instruments, other samplers / groove boxes, synths - it's all good.

It's not against the rules in any way.
But coming from the guy who doesn't even know the rules (your words, not mine) shouldn't be all that surprising.
You entered the open battle with similar (if not the same) rules, you know - the one where you voted for yourself, and opened accounts to vote for yourself, and BEGGED others to vote for you - don't remember that you had something against it then
;)

In fact, there were few more battles with these rules, but it's not like we see you around these parts of the forum, so it's reasonable that you're confused a bit <3

again, none of that happened.
you seriously must have a mental disability

here's the rules, dumb fuck

"SP-Battles

Ok, now that the voting is over here's what I have for rules. If anyone has any serious problems with these just leave a comment. You could PM me but if we're gonna make changes I'd prefer for everyone to be able to follow the logic. Anyway here we go...

1. All SPs only SPs. all chops, all sequencing. External mastering (E.Q., compression) is ok but don't rearrange anything. The exception to this is if any of the SPs have a useable time stretch feature that is disallowed to be fair to the ones that don't have it.

2. Winner of previous battle either picks / posts sample/s or designates someone else to. They may either post one sample / song as source material or a sample plus a breakbeat.

3. Only use elements posted for the battle. No extra drums from your library, etc. Anything left in your machine after you initialize the memory is fine.

4. Contest runs for one week. Voting runs for three days. Vote for somebody else, and explain your logic.

5. Remember to always include your name in the filename - it will make things easier :)

6. try not to upload your beats to those shitty zshare's and servers with waiting time - upload it for example here: box.net
(If you use SoundCloud, make sure your file is downloadable)

If you have any further questions - just ask them moderators!

Well that's it. These rules take effect for battle number six and on. Now get to work!"

Keep reading that post, friend-o and you'll eventually get to the point where the rules are flexed.
Btw, literally the previous battle wasn't SP only, apart from the one you entered, and a whole lot more

None of what happened? You entering an open battle with the more or less the same rules? Voting for yourself? Asking others to vote for you? Opening accounts to vote? Crying how everyone hates you, and won't vote for you? Pretending to NOT knowing the rules I.e not knowing it's wrong ethically as well as within the rules to vote for yourself?

Funniest thing is, I voted for your beat there, to give you a boost lol

You're simply clueless

Oh but it DID happen, and most of the forum saw it. Literally had a shame transfer then.

Once again, either put up a beat, or suck my balls and gtfo of this thread

Used some biggy and tupac acapellas, not really intentional, was just browsing acapellas on youtube and grabbed em!

Oh no man the drama is unfolding in the arena again!! I thought the arena was a sacred place!
