I have all my beats done, but I still need to mix the last 1 & then I’d like to take a couple days to get some additional vocal snips on the mix.

How r u doing on urs?

Who else is still working?

I could use another week. Maybe as little as a couple more days...

Right now my mix is like my penis, it's short but packs a punch.

I thought I was going to get it done this week at work but ended up actually having to work. My boss is completely unreasonable at this point.

I'm going to try again tonight to get the last few minutes done (last night was a huge failure). So I'm good either way, I can post up what I have, or use some more time if others are still working.

Dope mix man. U got a lot of heat out of those tapes. I can’t believe u got the tapes and Walkman for under $5! Excellent!

@Crane... :lol: :lol: :lol:

Let’s see how everyone else is doing.

I wouldn't mind more time. I have the structure of 11 beats done & I worked out the order, but still need to add vocals & transitions. I was gonna do what I could today & upload the mix tonight, but it would be nice to have a little more time. I spent most of my time on the chops so if I had a little time to add extras I think I can make it shine. I'm cool with whatever tho.

Time to get to work 8)

Thanks man. Yup. I think they thought it was a am/fm radio because the tapes load in the back. Plus it was a 50% off ticket sale. I always hunt the thrift stores for stuff.

I think I’m at about the same point of progress. It might take me a couple nights to get back to it though. U guys ok with one more week... post them this coming Sunday 8/12?

Here is my 15 minutes of fun.

Ghostbazz that was a great challenge. I did end up having to hit up a second goodwill for a new batch of records as my first ones were pure shit.

(I noticed it clips a little bit in places once I uploaded, but I don't plan on doing it again)

That shit locked my ugly mug in an ear to ear grin. Juggling loops with ease. Love the opening & the crossover to darkness toward the back end.

Also like that classic ride out finish.

Edit:
Production Notes
I used a ton of gear but everything went through the 808 for final processing/mixing. 4 tracks were 404 + 808... 1 track was all mpc1000 then tracked to the 808 for processing and arranging... 3 tracks were pitched samples that I took from the 808 chops, sampled into the e-mu e4xt, and then played back melodically... 2 combo tracks were lone 404, then tracked out and arranged on the 808. 1 track uses synth bass from the e-mu proteus 2500. I think 5 tracks use drums that were sampled 1-shots from the proteus, and 4 use open drums from the 4 records.
