How it works:
1. SP Microwave Battle opens each Monday with a new topic in the Arena named "Microwave Battle#...". Whoever starts the new battle creates a folder in the SP-Forums Box account named "SPMB#...", upload 1 sample to it and share the link to the sample in the battle's topic.

Entry in the battle and access to the SP-Forums Box is open to all.
(If the previous weeks winner has not started the new battle by the end of Monday Pacific Time, the new thread can be started by anyone.)
2. Each new battle must be referred to the Microwave Battle's rules . Whoever starts the new battle post the following in the newly created topic: RULES -http://sp-forums.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=22586
3. Each may upload 1 sample to the Box account in the current battle's folder. Audio must be not longer than 30 sec. in WAV or MP3, and can contain any material. You do not need to provide a sample to participate.
4. Share the link to the uploaded sample in the battle thread and mark it with ! SAMPLE !. Post the link to your beat in the battle thread and mark it with ! BEAT !
5. If the previous weeks winner uploads a sample, elements of this must be used in some way. All other samples are optional. No outside samples or instruments are permitted. Use of 1 sample from previous battles allowed.
6. Only 1 SP, entries must be not longer than 1 min. Bouncing to an external recorder permitted. No external audio processing such as EQ, Comp, etc. Multiple entries allowed.
7. Deadline for entries/opening of the poll is midnight Friday Pacific Time. The poll runs for 2 days. Each poll must have an option of 2 votes.
(If the previous weeks winner has not started the poll by midday Saturday Pacific Time, it can be done by anyone involved.)
8. Anyone may have access to the SP-Forums Arena account on SoundCloud.
