The microwave battle is a weekly battle and had a really good run the first eight weeks, but mbe it was hard to keep the momentum up - there was a marked dropoff in samples being uploaded and entries in the last two events... not surprising perhaps. I think we discussed the "rule" of being able to sample from any of the previous battles folders, just that the previous winners sample must be used in some way, so that may have been a way forward for me - i tried out some ideas but nothing was gelling for me and i didnt want to serve up shit even if it was a microwave. Long story short - make a poll!!! Poll always up on Friday nights and runs to Sunday.. new samps can be uploaded by ANYONE on mondays and tuesdays. ANYONE can start the new battle and poll - NOONE will feel shitted on if someone other than the winner starts the thread... MWB is a community run event separate from the regular and eminently honourable SP-Forums Beat Battle! |
