Arizona Al: Impressive bassline creation - is that subsonic FX at work? Great multilayered texture and nice melody hook! Really well done. OTBT: Great lofi graininess, cool that you used the streetmusician sample. OM-Audio: What impresses me is how sweet and fluid that beat is. The announcement signal gets a sort of deep house shimmer. Janglesoul: Ah, well. I didn't build my beat around anything melodic and it shows and suffers from it. Instead I spent my time creating a kit and hammered out a beat. And never got around to doing anything melodic over it. Wrong way of working, I think. Lesson learnt. Impressive work by the top three. My vote goes to OM-Audio for the sweetness and groove. |

Good job guys. Fixed playlist URL:https://soundcloud.com/clifford-novey/sets/sp-forums-resample-challenge I went with Az Al- I like 7/4 and the tight beat going to 4/4 as well. Melody was pretty dense for my taste. Jangle I liked yours a lot w/out melody but beat was too loose for me. Good space and fx etc. Still never seen anyone enter their own battle so you are a rock star heh. OTBT good job mangling/flipping the source material! C |

Good bumps from all four a ya's... really liked them all, but my vote went to Clifford, for the organ work and more dancey vibe. If we could vote for pix I'd go otbt send some of that my way... 4rizona would be my runner up, nice clean well mixed and groove-track. Jangle I liked your minimal means. |
