btw, this is my first battle, and after reading the rules i am unclear as to whether or not adjusting the bpm of samples is allowed, i adjusted the bpm in my beat because i feel that it is far too limiting and difficult to be creative without screwing with the time sigs.

must be the sx subsonic? to me the og's subsonic sounds wack. props if you tweaked the og's to sound like that!

Yeah subsonic effect, its the Og tweaked.adjusted the Eq and lowered the pad volume which helped get rid of the distorted sound.
