good battle, This was a tuff choice- all the beats were sick. I'm gonna vote for mostblunted.

mostblunted: Awesome feel in the beat, I also like how you've mixed some rough loops of the original sample into the beat.

Olerud: Feels kinda old school and I like how you've added the melody line. Some nice twists in the drum rhythm too, very fresh.

juxt: the scratch-beat feel is cool and the bassline fits perfectly. You're beats got style for sure.

ClymaX: Nice, I definitely like how you've mixed a lot of different parts of the sample into the mix.

plexxsounds: I like how you've added the effects, it definitely adds some extra flavor to the beat.

Great to see some more people entering again. I know my first few beats won't be spectacular, but it's the fun that motivates me anyways, so I don't care too much about quality just yet.

Most Blunted caught the vibe of the original track the most for me.
Juxt always pulls crispy ass drums of every sample, you the reason I don't battle.
Everyone else had great flips as well, I glad there's such a diverse pool of talent here for me to learn from.

I guess I stop sucking and join the next battle, but I know I'll get scraped.

Look forward to the sample.

thanks man. I always try to challenge myself to get drums, no matter how buried they are. thats my favorite part, everything else is secondary to me.

you shouldnt be like that man. Dont be competitive-Its all about challenging yourself and getting some practice. I dont think I have a chance at winning this battle but I'm still glad I had a chance to flip it.

Shit's weak!

mostblunted you got a real nice groove with that. Reminds of of how Danger Mouse flipped the Beatles' stuff for the Grey Album.

Shouldn't I wait up until after the Xmas battle? Seems like more people would join then.
