Oh he's definitely an attention whore, and who'd have believed it, he finally posted a battle!

When it comes to Zindan and Beat Battles, a little friendly persuasion never goes amiss

Personally I believe that those who play live and use the resample method are those who deserve the most respect since it depends completely on the ability of the artist to produce something good, organic and with good timing. Such a method must surely be better at reflecting the artist than a sequenced piece could ever be.

tbh, that's a very naive perspective and incredibly ironic coming from a non-practitioner.

Say what?!
I wouldn't really put it as SP-USER (regarding the respect and all), but he's somewhere right.
Sequencing a beat is fkn ten times, nay, hundred times easier than punching it live and resampling, how is this even an issue dude?

lmfao you're wrong and it's honestly sad watching your deluded rants talking to yourself (SP-USER) like anyone believes it's not you

if sequencing a beat is a "hundred times easier" why don't you prove it and learn how to use the sequencer? oh because you're retarded and you're making excuses to protect your fragile ego? oh yeah right

bro, i mainly resample and record live audio of me playing. why? cause its easier than sequencing. its harder to program expressive and nuanced sequences vs playing it live. i mean you can do a mix of both with midi tools but if its one or the other, sequencing is way more challenging. im not calling it an issue either, to me its facts.

also its funny that resampling vs sequences as a measure of skill is even a debate here. we are sampling other people's music and sound engineering. if you want to be all high and mighty about "Craft" you'd re-record or better yet play your own original parts rather than sampling other peoples' work.

@ZenCum I'm using sequencers all the time, Arturia drumbrute impact the most, I just don't use the SPs sequencer, but as always your fried brain missed that. And no, I'm not SP-USER, contrary to what you think, and just because you have multiple accounts in order to vote for your own trash beats, doesn't mean everybody does it

@Lu Zhishen
Dude, I'm a professional musician for 20+ yrs (drums, bass, guitar, percussion) with countless studio hours. Rocking the SP for fun ONLY with no expectations.
The reason why drum machines and subsequently sequencers were invented in the first place is to cut down studio time, because no drummer is that good to record it as fast as you can sequence it somewhere. Also the incredible amounts of time required to set the kit, then mics, then look for sweet spot, then record the pilot, then everything else.
Just because you feel it's easier it really doesn't mean it is.
Or do you honestly think you're that good in keeping groove/time? Have you ever tried resampling the entire drum track? Not boom-klack, kick snare combo take of three seconds? Have you ever sequenced odd times? 5/4, 7/8, 9/8?
No?
Thought so.
And long story short - resampling and keeping the groove is Harder. Any moron can sequence, just look at Zen Cum

lmfao it was invented because music is an artform that isn't restricted solely to "professionals" who have access to a studio full of professionals and professional equipment

before modern advents in recording and data storage, the production of music used to only be accessible to the wealthy elite

the creation of digital samplers and sequencers was a logical step in the progress for bringing the ability to produce music to anyone out there

you think sequencers only purpose is for emulating a drummer? you're funny b

and if you're such a pro, how come no one fucking knows you? what a sorry ass bitch lmfao

turns out according to this retard we have to sequence odd time signatures to be professional hip hop producers    considering no professional hip hop song has ever been produced in any time signature besides 4/4 or 3/4 i'ma go ahead and pull your card

you're a pathetic idiot b
