this site might be useful for folks who like to sample dialogs from movies

there is alot of old movies on youtube now too, good quality .

it can be torturous sampling movies, unless your actually watching the movie, you can record the entire movie to make it easier, and if someone else is watching it with you, you wont have to stop everytime you hear something cool to sample.

For anyone who has a Roku streaming box, there are some great channels on there for this: archive.org, drive in theater, foreign TV stations, etc etc.

I love setting up the sampler and rummaging through old movies; I try to stick to public domain/obscure stuff personally due to lower chance of legal action on the 1% chance my stuff gets heard/out there one day.

archive.org has a Roku channel?? Awesome!
(I cannot find it- is it nested inside another channel?)
