It's one word assigned to a keyboard sampler and played all ova da place! it's sounds like a dude saying "buggin", but it's cut so it just says "bug". |

In order to play that with a 404, I'd have to have the samples already pitched, right? I guess otherwise you couldn't do that with the 404... |

Alright, well, I have a couple ideas, but what are you trying to do: simulate this, or take the root sample ("bug") and pitch that up/down? |

guess this goes here LimpyLoo wrote: alright, I'd say you could (depending on your gear, of course):
a) pitch shift the sample multiple times and assign those to pads b) try to perform the pitch-shifting live using 'pitch' or 'chromatic ps' c) buy a sampling keyboard |

i made a program that take 1 sample and pitches it 11 times, either up or down. it also has the option of saving directly to the memory card, the only down fall is the tuning algorythm, which was re done a few times and eventually abandoned, http://unsatisfiedpoets.org/audio/sampl ... 20tuning_/ its the 12levelsamplepitch.exe and the source code there for the pitch shifting engine if you would like to build on my ideas other credits go to francis turkey for coding the GUI and sinapse for helping with the tuning theory. |
