Post subject:  How can you Sample directly from iTunes to the Sp-555???

I just got the Sp-555 a couple of days ago and I would love it if someone could help me with this problem. I have a 2GB CF and I wanted to know if anyone could provide me with instructions on how to sample directly from iTunes onto the C-G banks. I saw a dj do it on the fly but he didn't show how to accomplish this. I have a Mac and I currently have audio cables connecting from the line out to an amp (with the use of a 1/8 connector). I then have a usb connecting from the sp-555 to my laptop. If anyone could provide me with direction it would be greatly appreciated. Also, any tips n' tricks for Mac users would be great!

I sample into my 555 from my mac by taking a 1/8'' input from the sound out put and either RCA to the input of the 555 or 1/4'' into the mic input.

I ve never had luck with changing the settings on my mac with the USB. But maybe I lack the effort of trying because this works well.

ya that would work also, but that usb is really handy if you dont use it you should really try it. it frees up your rca inputs and your mic in. plus if you got some kind of recording software on your computer you can use the usb line to record all your shit onto digital tracks.
im just saying because when i started using it i absolutley loved it.
