now i see how i can use the 555 as a sound card and use it to record as im playing and all that but now when i use it in fl studio, say i load up a vst synth theres a HUGE delay between the time i hit the key and the time the sound plays...

possibly methods on fixing this...?
thanks

if theres a delay you arent using it as a soundcard...it should only be 6-20 milliseconds

go to your preferences/options go to the audio section and make sure its the ASIO driver sp-555 NOT the direct x

its not doing it as bad now, id say it was between 6 and 20 milliseconds now. but for some reason before it was like a 3 second delay...my computers old and needs to be replaced so it might just be my computer...

how is it possible to get it as low as 6 milliseconds though?

i dunno i recall that being the lowest setting, although it might glitch out easier. how much ram do you have? that could be the issue, if so its only like 60 dollar upgrade for a really fast computer
