Ok, this might be a stupid question but I am a newbie with the SP555. I don't have a compact flash card for it yet but I am wondering how to save a sample to a pad so that when I switch it off, the sample is still in the bank on that pad when powered up. |

Save the samples to banks A or B those two are saved in onboard memory. You'll have to disable the write protection if you want to erase any factory samples, though. |

if you are using the loop capture press "save to pad" if you are just talking about recording anything... press (SAMPLING) press a desired pad then press SAMPLING to start the sample and press SAMPLING again to end it. then read the manual haha |

haha..well thats the thing. The manual explains the sampling bit but it doesn't mention abt saving it to internal storage (not using a CF card). |

You just hit save to pad, press a pad, and then save to pad again. |
