Hey everyone, there is a roland sp 555 that I'd like to purchase. It is used and it's really cheap. The thing is, it doesn't come with sonar or any software CD's. Is that a big deal, or can I live without it? Or perhaps, if anyone can tell me if I can just get the software separately somewhere else. Is it expensive?

Please reply veryyy sooon!
I appreciate anyone's help. Thanks in advance.

you dont really need the software it comes with, its just a demo even though it says it isnt.

www.audacity.com free audio software

www.isohunt.com illegally free audio software.

definitely pick that shit up. the kid who sold it probably expected something other than what it was and couldn't use it much so its most likely in great shape.

It comes with Cakewalk Sonar LE that is not so good to me, but you will need SP555 driver and an app to transfer samples from PC to sampler and vice versa... it is probably free to download from roland's site... if not hit me on PM.

I downloaded the SP-555 wave converter from the Roland site. I haven't used the Cakewalk since I have other software so I don't require that program.
