Hey Folks

I am looking at purchasing an sp 555 and am just trying to clear a few things up about its capabilities.

Firstly I am planning to use it for playing improvised beats live by sampling pre recorded drum sounds. How sensitive are the pads for this kind of playing?
If any of you have used the m audio trigger finger are they on par with the pads on this?

Another thing is I'm a little confused about the midi in/out function. I own a Roland td6v electronic drum computer which has midi in and outs. Am i able to connect this to the sp555 to trigger sounds and samples?

also if any of you folks have experience using a sampler live as well as drumming i would be interested to hear about your setup/ problems you had to overcome and any tips.

hope this all makes sense as i am rather new to all this.

the plugging is simple. . vdrums midi out -> sp555 midi in

assuming its the same as the sp-404,
the way the samples are organised is - all on one channel, consecutive pad numbers/banks, are consecutive notes.

I can't comment on the sensitivity.
