When I got there it was clearly used just a couple of times and all looked as new. The card worked with no issues, so now I'm a happy part of "the family"
Seems like a seriously fun and creative tool!

Hi everybody! I'm hoping to become an owner of the SP-555 during the weekend, but thought maybe you guys could help me a bit with some info on what to look for, when buying such a machine second hand. Are there common issues/things I should be aware of when looking at it? I'm hoping it's in good condition, but just want to avoid buying the cat in the sack. Take care! Magnus |

Make sure the CF card works- format it and record to it, all the buttons, a DC power supply preferably the orig, etc. I looked for a service manual but can't find one- would be great to know the diagnostic routine but oh well. Good luck! |
