Hello all, glad to see the forum up and running again!

So I accidentally used a hosa cable for a guitar, and after plugging it into the instrument/mic jack with it working successfully I had a hard time getting it out and when it finally did come out the tip portion on the cable was missing and stuck inside the 555's jack..

I see there are 2 screws on that mic input piece is there a way to take those screws out and lift the jack out to dislodge the cable tip?

Any ideas?

a guitar cable will fit into the 555 no problem... but you shouldn't use it with anything but a guitar or it will burn out eventually. It getting stuck in your machine means something is wrong. either the socket in your 555 is deffective or that plug was defective. You might be able to get it out with some needle nose pliers. Otherwise I don't think opening it up will help you get it out...it might...but I doubt it. You hay to take it to get repaired. If the problem was with the socket in the 555 then your warranty should cover it if u still have it.
