Headphones, it must cost you almost as much in cables as it does in actual music hardware

I easily could(and probably should) have just gotten a used Behringer modular synth, but I’m trying to collect the Hungry Robot Modular pedals to just flesh out my Crave/TD3’s sounds a bit more. But the CV cables I already bought ages ago. But I’ve waited months for the VCO to be on the market, and I coulda bought a VCA to go with it, but I had some records I wanted a Black Friday deal on. So just the VCO for now. By the time The Behringer Edge comes out I hope to have most of the HRM pedals around just in case I need them for extra patching. I have the Skew, Sample & Hold, and Output pedals. But I’ve slacked on buying them lately.

I mean yeah, it’s a pain in the butt to power them all, but Rucci electronics has like a 4 part power pedal
For $70, so I plan to buy another 2 or 3 just to provide the juice for the pedals I own. I just completed 58 hours of overtime from my job, so I might just have enough for the 404mk2 & the Yamaha as well. There’s no HRM that does midi conversion, but that’s what the Crave can do.

As long as you're happy and it does what you want, that's all that matters. Right now I feel like the behaviour from China is really fucking-up my progress in getting a suitable set-up sorted. There's a whole bunch of stuff I reckon would be out there already (both announced and unannounced) if it wasn't for that!

If they ever build their Silk Road grand plan, they’ll save a lot of time sending containers East from their factories to Europe by rail. It will Cut the time it takes a container boat to reach a European/Mediterranean city by 1/3rd. But I don’t know if that’s going to help your situation now.

So I finally got the XR20 home. It works great, nice & blue screen, 720 sounds, but the patterns are 100% hip hop. No rock, pop, disco, house, or techno here! But there’s a bit of funk, lots of grooves, so it’s great in that regards. It’s not perfect. I’m trying to figure out how to adjust the Bpm of the patterns. Good thing this came with the original box because now I’ve got to scope out how it’s done.

This is a one stop shop for kits though. The synths are ok, but you can’t really edit them like a true synth, so you can only expect so much. But all the kicks, snares, hats etc sound fine to me. I could have done worse I guess. But it’s light, runs on batteries, and is a decent drum machine. But you won’t be disappointed with the boom this can do.

I wouldn’t spend more than $100 for this, but for $75+tax, it’s a nice addition.

Finally figured out how to adjust the Bpm. You hold the tap Tempo and then dial in the speed you need. Or tap it. Derrrrrr. I had to Google that one! Right now I got it sequencing my Volca Beats with the audio out into the XR20’s Mic In. Works like a charm. So when my RD9 arrives, they’ll work like a tag team!

Yeah, I still got my DR202 somewhere in my closet. But the XR20 has pianos, guitar licks, voices, and other tricks up it’s sleeve. But the DR202 has better effects in its defense. Together? They’ll rock I’m sure.

And since Moog is discontinuing these, I took the plunge. It will come in handy with the rest of my modular gear. I plan to sequence it from my TD3, but mix the Moog’s fat sound to the 303 squelch. Just doesn’t seem like these will be gone soon, but Moog runs out of parts & then the items jump in price. It’s not at all a deep synth, but you can’t expect it to at $175 (including tax/s&h). The more you patch it to other CV synths/drum machines/sequencers is when you flex what it can do.

Try to get news from multiple sources and refer to the sources on the left, center and right. You will find your favorites, but try not to just consume news that may coincide with your current opinion, otherwise you may end up in the echo chamber of only one kind of repetitive news, so I assumed that the Esti Prager Miami news was fake. Remember that news is not final, it is factual, allowing you to form your own opinion.

Your post made as much sense as this lost dog flyer.
