Hey sp-fam, I know a lot of you cats have 1k.

how do you track out your individual tracks? Manually - by recording them through some Multimix, track by track, or even 6 tracks at a time, or is there a way to do it digitally? I mean can you tell mpc to save each track as a .wav file or sth?

thanks in advance for any answers!

you can save each track as wav but you got to resample mains out to do that. when i use to track into my dp02, i would jus midi it up and go track at a time. now i just mix inside the mp and record a 2 track into reaper.

if you wanted to track individual at the same time you would need a mixer and use the assignable outs.

abit breif but it's time to go home!

and are you satisfied with the inside-mixing capabilities of mpc? all this eq shit? Ive never played with this mixing side of beats, and i just think the right time has come.
I heard that in jjos xl you can tweak hi and lo eq for each sample - is that what you're utilizing?
it'd be dope If I coud get by with mixing inside mp, Im just horrified with the perspective of tracking each track to my pc and then mixing inside pc. I know its more professional and shit, but If the mixing capabilities of the very mpc are enough? and whats with mixer changes recording in jjos xl- you really cant record your panning/volume changes?

-so much text - i just highlited 3 crucial questions :)

thanks for answer Nothingless - haha I wish I knew your name :D

persoanly i think the sound right out the box is fine, but im not a quality head. however, i got mates who are geeks with mixing and mastering and they say my beats have got a nice rich full sound, so im happy with that.

im using jj os1 so you have to use the eq as an effect and then resample. i've never touched 0s2 or os2xl so can't comment.

using the q link sliders you can record and playback pan/volume changes.

no problem, it's jim by the way haha.

i use JJ 4.99 but i don't think it matters much for this discussion.

i just compose on the box, output a single stereo wav to my DAW. tho i gotta say, i'm rarely as happy with the stuff from the mpc as i am from the 404 or 505. not the sound necessarily, more how i'm using the mpc.
