im trying to link up my 404 and a linux based machine using rosegarden to record..

rose garden looks and sounds(reads) cool i just dont think the uno is working right..

plug it in and the usb light lights up..

neither light lights up with the midi plugs go into the 404 (banging pads either or pattern trigger)

if you have one (or something similar) will the lights light up just by plugging in?

also if anyone has used rosegarden holler
