hi i read interesting thing about this machine. for example that it is capable to load/save samples or to sample. also to capture inside performance. ok, it has only 6sec for every 4 parts, but i worder how the quality of samples is, in what format it saves etcetc i know it can also chop samles in order to make other loops. it goes with smartmedia. and, naturally, it is a groovebox (maybe in mc-303/307 style), but what kind of sounds it has? when you apply the fx can you do that for indvidual part/synth? how many synth parts you have? it is not very very cheap but less expensive/little than the mc-909... if you ever try this tell me something about it. ps i downloaded the manual yet but i would like to know also "human" comments on it ![]() |

Not sure if you've read the user comments here yet: http://www.vintagesynth.com/roland/mc09.php The machine looks interesting, people seem to be positive about it, but I haven't ever seen or used one in my life. In fact, first time I heard about it. |

If you can get one for under 100€, I probably would try to get it. From the looks of it, it's pretty impressive for a 7-year old 150$ product. ![]() |

Saw one on his pictures in the "art" thread elsewhere on this forum. i found it , it ws Drewzle, the studio pic thread http://sp-forums.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4626&start=45, i also foget i was yet interested on this machine: if you read the comments on his studio you will see... anyway, maybe the mc-09 is just good for acid synths sounds and it's not that versatile...in the manual i read other types of sound too, but... i wrote him a pm. |

cartesia wrote: Is that the one that drewzle has/had? yes it is. i talk with him with some PM and it seems a limited but not bad machine. i would like to push its maximun possibilities in sampling tricks+acid bass/synths...plus it can capture what you do (only 6 sec every 4 part, but ok) PHeMoX wrote: 150€ doesn't sound bad at all. ![]() yes, i copped instantly. i found 2 mc09 in france for 200€ and 250€ (price like this without shipping!), that's crazy... i could make a little review when i'll receive it if you want |

Yeah, same here. People try to sell an RS7000 for 800€. Crazy. ![]() I wouldn't pay more than 300-400€ for that machine, even though it's a classic piece of gear. |
