Like the KP3, except I want more control over the effects (It's funny. .KP3 has the coolest interface ever but you get crap all control over the effect sounds) - selling my kp3 at the moment.

The main thing im interested in doing is glitching up and messing with samples, loops, etc . .. at the moment im actually just thinking about buying a 2nd sp-404 and chaining 2 together so i can use 2 fx on one sample
.. but I'm wondering if there's anything better out there?

You could get a br-600 and have more fx as well as digital multi track, the new mini korg kaos pad looks pretty cool too.

The KP3 always seemed a bit steep for me - it's the same price as a 606 but with less simultaneous effects in realtime and way less sampling power and no sequencer whatsoever.

The 606s 2 x Multieffects + 6pole Multimode Filter + Multiband Compression -- all in realtime, makes for a good live tweak-box :P

Actually, the KP3 has come down (it's only $700), so there's a $250 difference. That's less than a night out though, so meh, the KP is still overpriced for what is essentially *just* a single-effect box with DJ connections.

If the KP was about $300 less it would be worth it  but I know I'm dreaming..
