If you have commitments such as work, study, girlfriend, friends, etc... DO NOT BUY GEAR. I have 2 essays overdue now because my blofeld arrived yesterday, and I am not gonna be done playing with it for at least a week. |

You can't spontaneously decide to go to London or Berlin for a weekend or few mid-week days when you're working full time. Or at least not that easy. On the other hand, the financial security a full time job provides is very nice, hah. Peace. |

yeah pros and cons, and it probably depends on the person...but i was a pretty anxious student, couldn't really relax during term time..always worrying about the huge workload, etc |

Lol, yeah, there's nothing quite as rewarding as living the life of a pro beat maker, constantly feeling the near-unbearable pressure of a dozen deadlines making you curl up in a corner whilst desperately trying to concentrate into making yet another 10 beats simultaneously, even though your body is way past warning you that you actually are in imminent need of a more healthy dose of sleep per day.
Of course, then there's the money, fame, girls and some more money to make up for all that I suppose.
