Holy fuck I got that itching again... Last time I passed on Akai mpc live, mostly because people were complaining about it glitching and freezing mid performance - dunno if this is true, but I took it for granted anyway - plus I eyed arturia drumbrute impact for some time, so I went with it and spent the rest on weed  But this baby is compact and looks cool and... Damn. Got that itching again.. |

It looks official, Lacks a few of the eatures of the Live .. but looks most appealing I'm sold on it already .. Akai seem to have ackowledged the marqee styling of yester year Accurate Beats got the pre release https://youtu.be/0tYsLrcw-AQ I imagine they are looking to patch glitches in the software . From my understanding, it runs the same software base as the Live |

I think as soon as I get my MPC1000 back from the pawn shop, gonna sell it on Reverb.com to cough up the cash to get one. I can’t figure out the MPC1k, and for the most part, the new MPC1 smokes it like a birthday candle. Kinda will be sad I didn’t spend more time with the 1k, and it’s time to move forward. |
