What other gear did you get today? I bought a $50 toy keyboard, it has 132 sounds, as far as I can tell each sound is a single sample pitched across the keyboard with some filtering or somesuch to make the lower and higher notes not quite sound as bad as they would otherwise. It does basically what I want it to do, which is provide me with common instruments to play into my sp404 (and a metronome too, yay) |

The bisciut is nice. First off it seems like the most solid piece of hardwear i've ever felt. The effects/bit crushing are good but heavy and don't just sit on a track they overtake it, which is cool but unfortunately the only way to use the filter if this. I think with the der oto synth is also nice. It makes the biscuit worth it for me. The midi seems a little dodgy while mixing internal sequencer and running ext midi clock with korg stuff, wierd. The cs01 will be my main mono once i get the umr2 installed. |

sold my ms2000r for 330$ got a micron for 280 and a rt234 for 80. even if the ms2000 interface is pretty dope the micron is so much more powerfull, smaller (cause i don't have to use a midi controller) and fun to use live . still waiting on that 234!! |

Yeah I like the micron/ion/miniak sound engine so much better than the ms2000/mkorg. Not that the MS2k isn't nice sounding, just has this sameness that starts to take over patches, whereas the micron with its FM/more filters/better analog-y sound doesn't suffer from that. After a long wait on a minibrute pre-order list i ordered one from a different site and it looks like it shipped, excited! |
