Post subject: | RC-20 Loop Station |
So i've got a boss rc 20 loopstation. i'm sure it works great with direct in but i've seen two events where they record something and it is too quiet. I think one of them was using a mic it was because the mic was powered? I'm not really an expert on this stuff... pretty much what i'm trying to do is write a piece for a friend that uses all four saxophones and he wants to play all 4 saxophones so asked me to write it with a loop station. the hard part is to match the volume of my actual playing and the volume that's coming out of the speaker. i have a decently sized PA system!!! THANK FOR HELP! |

Loopstations all have input volume knobs that you can adjust. If you can't get the playback loud enough (or it feeds back) you'll need to do some kind of pre-amp on the mic on the way in, with a cable that brings the mic level to line level. |
